Mrs. Burke was born in Pacific, Missouri, to Donald and Bernice Hearst. She went to grade school and high school at Meramec Valley R-III. As a child she went to PSR, Bible School, and church at St Mary’s Church. She has four brothers Donnie, Danny, Denny, and Doug. She has always enjoyed spending time with her family. She started her college carrier at ECC where she got her Associate’s Degree. She then attended Central Methodist College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She then received a Job at St. John the Baptist School as a second grade teacher. After teaching for a year, she went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Missouri Baptist University. Soon after she received her Master’s Degree she married her husband Edward Burke at St. Mary‘s. Mrs. Burke resides in Union, Missouri. She has two Jack Russells’ (Popeye and Olive Oil), a gecko (Speedy), and a hermit crab (Crabby). She has been a teacher for nine years, and she loves her job. She also enjoys embroidering, scrap booking, fishing, spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and cooking. She hopes to continue teaching at St. John’s for a long time.
